Before I show you what I made I want to start off with my excuses …..the old mojo has gone and done a runner and I can’t say I blame him. I’ve been a rotten friend, wife and mother lately and a very bad blogger to boot. So having said that I would like to share a couple of rubbish cards with you in the hope of seeing them on my blog will actually shame me into making something better.

I used my new sketch pens in my Silhouette Cameo to draw the cool elephant in his shades and write the sentiment which I coloured with the metallic yellow sketch pen by hand, shouldn’t have bothered cos you can’t see a speck of the metallic finish !

Hello lovely ladies !

This is a scheduled post as I’m off in Spain at the moment staying with Florence from Florence and Freddie and Kylie from ATCAS who has travelled all the way from Australia then I will be travelling over to the UK to visit my family.

It just so happens that I’m the hostess for the next fortnight’s challenge at ATCAS and I’m not even at my desk !  hopefully I am under a desk or on top of one par- tay- ing  ! So what did I choose as my theme for all of you CAS aficionados

I do believe there’s lots of scope here so let your imagination run wild !

Sorry about the rubbish photo but it hasn’t stopped raining for about 10 days here and there’s  no sun !!! So glad am going to Spain .

Made my croc with the Cameo and colored with distress inks and then glossy and crackle accents,  didn’t crackle much so lets just say this is a baby croc who takes great care of his skin !

Before I leave you all I wanted to give a bit of a shout out to a fabulous blogging friend of mine Florence from Florence and Freddie who has a birthday today as does my lovely mum. Florence’s blog was one of the first blogs I ever visited,  not only was I blown away by her amazing talent but she made me laugh too and I’m still laughing after three years ! We have become firm friends and I love her dearly and  best of all I will be meeting her in two weeks time. She most kindly invited myself and our boss the gorgeous Kylie from ATCAS to come stay with her in Spain. Kylie as some of you know lives in Australia and I live in Greece so we will all be meeting up how crazy is that !

Time for a new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers and More and for the next fortnight the super talented Jackie will be your host. Now what did my lovely team-mate choose as her theme

” You’ve Been Framed “

Jackie  would like to see a prominently displayed frame on your project, this can be stamped, die cut, or made up of other materials, or you could even  decorate an actual frame , so plenty of scope here. So much so in-fact I couldn’t decide what to make but after weeks of making predominately black cards I went in the other direction and made a white one with a little pink.

The frame was cut with my Cameo using some lovely vellum paper, very delicate but the result is so pretty . I added a square of felt to the centre and adhered several butterflies cut and embossed with my Fiskars Fuse which of late has been feeling a bit neglected  so thought I would give it a little outing.

Welcome back to a brand new challenge at ATCAS . Our hostess for the next fortnight is the lovely and very talented Sylvia , so what has she chosen as her code word to motivate and inspire us all…….

Well I think you’ll agree lots of scope on this one, so what did I make well……

I really loved this image in the Silhouette store and have been wanting to use it for ages that and the fact I don’t have any wheel stamps !

I decided to make another shadow box , this was a bit tricky as the lines are so thin in some places it took several attempts and lots of cursing before I could get it the way I wanted.

A short post from me today ( lucky things ) off to do my 10K daily walk which has now turned into 5 walking and 5 running and then off to my summer-house to open it up and do some spring cleaning.

Hello lovely ladies

Time for a new challenge at ATCAS and I’m so happy that I’m able to join in this time round. I had a nasty bout of the flu which was most generously passed on to me by Mr P who once he had infected me went away on a business trip for a week and left me with a 40 degree temperature and a shop to run ! It really laid me low and I was incapable of anything for two weeks. I’m back to full fitness now and was all ready to come visit you  when my Mac crashed, I only got it back yesterday evening so my card for this weeks challenges was made in a bit of a rush. Its amazing how much we rely on technology in our everyday lives  every time I came into my craft room I was saddened by the big empty space on my desk. Anyways its back now in its rightful place so let me tell you about our new code word

Our code word for the next fortnight has been selected by the very lovely and talented Sandie and this is what she has chosen for us

I didn’t have one stamp with luck or good luck or anything remotely related,  thank goodness for the old Cameo eh ! Now Im warning you all my card’s a bit on the bright side  so you might need your sun glasses for this one.

You notice the little sequin in the corner?  A while back I purchased tons of different colored sequins as I fell in love with the trend and was totally jel of all of those gorgeous cards and projects out there. Have I used them  ? NOoooooooooo , I just don’t seem to be able to place them in a carefree and stylish manner on my cards as you can see by the above, poor thing stuck in the corner on its own, I may just end up making a frock and sewing them on !!!!

Its along the seafront here in Thessaloniki which normally would be quite nice except most days it has rained and been windy,  no fun walking fast and trying to hold on to my umbrella !
