Crafty Cardmakers and More # 113 ” You’ve Been Framed”

Time for a new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers and More and for the next fortnight the super talented Jackie will be your host. Now what did my lovely team-mate choose as her theme

” You’ve Been Framed “

Jackie  would like to see a prominently displayed frame on your project, this can be stamped, die cut, or made up of other materials, or you could even  decorate an actual frame , so plenty of scope here. So much so in-fact I couldn’t decide what to make but after weeks of making predominately black cards I went in the other direction and made a white one with a little pink.

The frame was cut with my Cameo using some lovely vellum paper, very delicate but the result is so pretty . I added a square of felt to the centre and adhered several butterflies cut and embossed with my Fiskars Fuse which of late has been feeling a bit neglected  so thought I would give it a little outing.

We have some fantastic prizes for the winner

This post was a little hit and miss as I’ve misplaced my glasses and am suffering from an advanced case of bloggers blindness, I beg your pardon if there are lots of errors and if Mr Mac has decided to do some of its erratic spell checking.

Wishing you all a wonderful day/evening and looking forward to coming by to seeing  (I wish ) you all

Take care

Marie

  6. Oh. lovely Marie, this is a fabulous pretty card, just a real shame about the Butterfly, I don’t do Butterflies on cards because I really don’t believe or have seen one on a card that lives up to the real life and fabulous creatures that they are.

I am also totally aware that images and so forth that I use on my cards are not others choice, so I really appreciate the work and time that has gone into this card. and I totally love WOW with another colour, so I actually do love this card.

  7. GULP! I just about burst into tears at how spectacular this is, Marie. Once again, and I know I say this every time, this is a piece that belongs in an art galley! You blow my mind!! Hugs, Darnell

  8. What a gorgeous card! I love the white and the touch of pink. Gives it an ethereal feel. That background looks so intricate and makes me want to finally buy myself a Cameo! Thank you for playing with us at Time Out Challenges, Marie! :o)
