Flowers Galore!

Hello lovely crafters I’m popping in today to share three cards for a few challenges some of which are new to me. It’s the time of year when the challenge themes are mainly flowers or spring and due to the lack of lovely weather here in Greece, I’ve made tons of them in order to cheer myself up. Having said that the three that I’m sharing are all monochromatic so that may give some insight into my current mood. The reason is I’ve just returned from a quick visit to the Uk to visit my lovely sister Kal and her family and although I had a fabulous time I really do miss her and her loopiness. The upside is she gifted me tons of lovely crafting supplies as she has turned her attention from crafting to Lego so that’s a result for me! She did try however to entice me into building a few things which I was rubbish at. To be honest, I was afraid I would become addicted and I just can’t afford another hobby plus my bloggers blindness would increase tenfold as those little bricks are minuscule, and even with the aid of my glasses I was visually challenged after half an hour, and needed a lie down !

I made all three using the Be Bold Blooms die set from Spellbinders and a couple of Altenew embossing plates for the backgrounds. I love the simplicity of them especially the first one although it was a nightmare trying to get the placement right and took longer than the cutting itself. I’ve added foam tape randomly behind some of the blooms and leaves to add a little depth.

Triple D are asking us for blooms birds or butterflies.

Happy Little Stampers

Please do pop over the above-mentioned blogs as the Dt’s all have the most amazing cards to inspire and delight.

Until next time I hope you are all well and happy.

Take care, Marie.

  1. These are impressive Marie, love the monochrome, but they are so different, the EF are beautiful, giving a lot of interest to each card. I love the way you have placed each piece on each card. Thanks for your lovely visit šŸ™‚

  2. I’m so glad you didn’t turn to the ‘dark side’ and if it’s sight you need then there will be definitely no legos for me lol. Love you you have used these sweet blooms, this set totally makes me happy!

  3. Firstly, I’m not loopy! Secondly you’re welcome to my unused craft supplies, you create such beautiful cards and I’m happy to be able to see my purchases used. Thirdly you did well with the Lego.
These cards are the epitome of class, they seem simple but there’s a lot going on there and some really fiddly pieces. At the risk of repeating myself you make everything look so easy and I know it’s not.
Absolutely beautiful cards and weiss you already.

  4. Firstly I’m not loopy, secondly you’re welcome to my unused crafting supplies, you’ll make much better use of them than I would and thirdly you werent rubbish at Lego!
These cards are the epitome of class. Although you make everything look simple I know how fiddly these dies are. Your placement and depth are amazing. You really are a superstar and we miss you already!!

  5. Well if you were coming to the UK for a bit of sunshine Marie you were sadly disappointed! Seems that nobody is getting a spring this year 😦 My sister is off to one of the Greek islands shortly though so I hope for her sake as well as yours that the sun might make an appearance soon!

These fabulous monochrome florals are absolutely breathtaking! The different backgrounds add so much to them and the little touches of gold on the second and third. Vicky x

      • She went to Skiathos but has returned now. The weather was appalling apparently and all the locals were talking about how cold it had been this spring. I thought of you when she told me she was going but I didn’t think she’d be thrilled to hear that she should take her winter woollies!! x

It's always a pleasure to read your coments
