Welcome to a new challenge at ATCAS and our hostess with the mostest Ceal has chosen craft as her code word.
So many ways you can go with this one, sewing, knitting, painting, card making, so why was it so difficult for me! mainly because I don’t have any of the related stamps, dies, etc but eventually came up with this.
I can’t say it’s one of my most favourite cards, and even though I love this die, it’s from the I dance by spellbinders series I’m just not happy with my card. The lady holding the glue bottle’s little legs move from side to side, so much fun
I eventually had my cast removed this week only to have my wrist put in a splint for the next few weeks it’s extremely painful and worse than the cast but at least I can now have a proper shower. It’s left me feeling sorry for myself as I was convinced I would be back to normal as soon as it was removed apparently broken wrists take a long time to heal and it really has dampened my crafting mojo as I can still only use one hand.
I was so happy to be chosen as an honorable addict over at Addicted to stamps and more for my giraffe card that certainly lifted my spirits and I look forward to getting back to two-handed crafting in the next few weeks.
Happy little stampers are asking us for anything goes with dies
As I haven’t used this die before I’m entering into the NBUS challenge#42
Do pop over to ATCAS my team mates have made some incredible cards and we look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Take care
Marie
I think feeling sorry for yourself (understandable) has impacted your feelings towards this very creative card, Marie, cuz it is the darn cutest crafty card I’ve ever seen! I love the way you used the Spellbinder lady (nice skirt!) and gave her a giant bottle of glue to hold! Glue is one of those “must haves” when it comes to this craft and I love the sediment, too! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hang in there with the wrist, my friend. Think how far you’ve come! Soon you will be whole again. Hugs, Darnell
Thank you so much Darnell you are so kind
You got this GF! You are nearly there and you will be that crafty goddess, once more, before you know it!! Sending big hugs your way x
Ps I am sure that’s my bottle of glue, it’s certainly large enough lol.
Hahah thanks for popping in and making me smile
Good to hear you’re on the mend Marie, but sorry it’s still not back to normal, however methinks you are, your card is awesome. Bowing to the Queen of CAS.
hugs
Careful now with the bowing down don’t want you aggravating your back now do we !
For you, it doesn’t matter, I will suffer! 😉
It’s a brilliant card – caught my attention in the gallery!!! I’m so sorry you’re feeling understandably down! Hang in there, it will get better!
Thank you Kate for your kind words.
I absolutely love this card, I’m such a fan of all the dies in these sets, the dancing legs really make me smile. I don’t understand why you don’t love this card, it’s fabulous. Where would us crafted be without your after all!
Sorry to hear your still suggesting, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from your creations. You’re a real inspiration x
I absolutely LOVE this card Marie! The thing that I like best is how the glue top masquerades as a bun hairstyle – brilliant! As usual your little details really add to the design – those gold ballet slippers, that gorgeous checked skirt. Sorry to hear your hopes of emerging from the cast a new and healed woman were dashed. Be patient, not long now. Sending hugs, Vicky x
Thanks Vicky for your encouraging words, hopefully won’t be long before I’m back two handed crafting
Well she’s very fun with that giant bottle of glue! Bummer about your wrists!
Thanks, Vicki, yes bummer about the wrists thanks for stopping by
