Spring

A big thank you to everyone who popped over to visit my little sister at Crafting with Mabel for her first ever blog post. I know she truly appreciated it as did I.

Spring is in the air !!!! well it appears once or twice a week here in Greece and then reverts back to winter, having said that I have been inspired by so many spring cards I’m seeing that I decided to enter a few challenges.

The embossing folder is by Altenew which I coloured with distress oxides very carefully as I only wanted the raised portion of the leaves to have colour. These gorgeous little butterflies by Pinkfresh studios are part of a set including hot foil plate, stencils and dies which I have used here and I love the effect. The sentiment is by Yana Smakloula also using a hot foil plate and co-ordinating die cut banner and to finish some little gold blobs (technical term) by Pinkfresh studios.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies

Can You Handle The Pressure. Anything Goes With Embossing Folders With A twist Of Green

NBUS Challenge #36

The butterflies die cuts, stencils and hot foil plate are having their first outing

Take care

Marie

  2. OH! This is just so VERY gorgeous Marie, beauitful embossing and those butterflies are to die for, well maybe not exactly, but you know what I mean? I also love how you have done the banner, so beautiful.
    xx

  3. Goodness me, between you and Bonnie Klass I think I’ve been persuaded to get that gorgeous leafy EF! Love your greens and blues and the touches of gold foiling. I’ve always wondered what the technical term for those metal pearls is Marie and of course it is ‘gold blobs’!! Vicky x

  4. This warms my tree/leaf butterfly-loving heart, Marie! It checks all the boxes! Thank you for introducing us to your sweet talented sister! And thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Oh get into blogging she said, enter some challenges and I’ll come and blow your creations out if the water! Seriously this might be my favourite of all the cards you’ve made. You know how much I love green! I’d best be receiving this one! The colours are amazing, the butterflies beautiful but most of all the way you put everything together looks effortless.
Thank you for being my inspiration❤️

    • You are far too kind but thank you for your lovely words (for a change) I will save if for you but no actually you have all of the same dies and eF so you can make a better one for yourself.

  6. Oh Marie this is absolutely GORGEOUS! Your careful coloring is beautiful and I simply love your overall design! Believe it or not, the weather is doing the exact same thing here in Ohio, USA!! I am SO ready for winter to be gone and Spring to be here! Thanks so much for playing in our challenge at Can You Handle The Pressure … we appreciate your support and hope to see you again next challenge! Good Luck!
