Hello lovely ladies !!!
Thank you all so much for your healing hugs and get well wishes I’m pleased to announce that after nearly two months of being ill and miserable I’m finally feeling well !!!!! Yes the mange has finally deserted me and gone in search of pastures new . So without further ado I’ll get straight onto the subject at hand which is the new card challenge at Get Creative , yes you heard right, no whingeing or moaning or feeling sorry for myself rest assured this will be one quick post !
Our lovely leader Irini has created this wonderful sketch for us to follow
Here’s my take on the sketch
The image was created with the aid of my Cameo and cut into four, coloured with Copics, I stamped and die cut a little butterfly and coloured also with Copics , glossy accents added hither and thither, don’t know if you can see the thither but if you look closely you will see it !
Four tarty crystals in the centre and a touch of layering and there you have my little kitschy card. This photo does not do it justice it’s ever so classy in real life, honest !
The winner of our challenge will join us as guest designer for May.
Do pop over to Get Creative and see what the other DT members have come up with and welcome our guest designer Meletini who has created two fabulous cards for us.
That’s all from me folks off to Pilates, something I haven’t done for two months now so wish me luck !
Take care
Marie
WOW, I LOVE this and it’s shapes and colouring, so ingenious to make it all with your Cameo, you are soooooo clever with that machine.Love the bling and I even see the thither too.

Hope you didn’t overdo your pilates – I mean a woman of your age needs to be careful, we don’t want you doing your back in! Your card is an explosion of turkish delight – yum! Not tarty – just tangy! xx
Anita got it in one with Sumptuous, and I could copy her spelling of it :0)
The pattern has not suffered from being chopped up into four and love the tarty bling too. So good to hear you are finally feeling fit again…. Not sure that will be the word after rejoining Pilates though!!! :0)

Your card is a gorgeous little masterpiece! Love the beautiful jewel colours, and yes, I can see all the glossy accents…which add lovely dimension and texture to your design. Your fab ‘tarty’ bling finish your card off perfectly!
Pilates is good! Hope it went well 🙂
Thank you for your kind words on our loss of our sweet girl, Cookie. We are all missing her so much, and life has been so miserable without her around. We were all in shock, as she had just had her check up at the vets, and they said she was marvellous for her age xxx
How lovely to hear that you’re up on your pins and not wondering around the streets in your PJs any more Marie! You’ve come up with a stunner in this card – I love the jewel colours as well as the actual jewels and the hither and thitherness of the glossy accents is a touch of your usual genius! Vicky x
What a beautiful design and colors! Very elegant indeed!
Wonderful to hear that you’re feeling better 🙂 Your card looks fabulous, great details and colors.
LOVE this one, Marie. A little different with the shapes which is always nice and the colours – well you know me and colour. Another little “Miracle by Marie” — not a bad handle … what do you think? Sorry spring as not arrived in Greece. Soon, Marie …. soon. hugs, Donna
