What a fabulous response we had to our last challenge at Addicted to CAS, you lovely ladies sure do love your embossing and I know that Karen has had a really tough time picking her winners so tune in Monday to see who will the lucky winners are.
Its time though for a new code word and for the next fortnight our host will be the super talented Loll who has chosen :-
Now normally I would be doing cartwheels and woo-hoo-ing all over the place ( not a pretty sight at my age as my children can testify ) at the thought of a heart related card as I adore them but I was a little flummoxed to say the least. I’ve made so many of them lately so I really had to get the old thinking bonnet on to come up with something new.
I’ve wanted to use this little stamp for ages it a tiny weeny inchie stamp by Inkadinkado stamped with red Archival ink and then layered with a variety of Spellbinders frames. The sentiment is computer generated, super simple , so simple it took ten days to come up with it ! That blasted mojo !
Not satisfied with such a simple card I decided to challenge myself and try to make an even simpler one ( yes simpler than this ) and I did !!
See told ya it was simple ! My lovely Cameo did all the hard work except add the little heart stick pin, I take full credit for that and I think it makes all the difference !!

will be awarded to the CAS PERFECTIONIST
Its been absolutely ages since I entered a challenge and thought it was about time I dipped my tootsies back in the water so I would like to play along with Addicted to Stamps and More who are having a CAS challenge with any theme you like ! Its my first time taking part in one of their challenges and I hear on the blogvine that they have a wonderful inspirational design team !
Now while you have a spare five minutes why not pop over to Addicted to CAS to see what the gorgeous girls have come up with, I can assure you there is plenty of inspiration, why not join in the fun, go on you know you want to !
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
Take care
Marie
I love BOTH your cards … and I agree the heart to the ‘captured’ card makes all the difference!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Marie,
the second one is AAAAWEEEESOME! It’s not a secret that I love fun cards – this one is fund and simple in perfection!
I also like the first one. Adding many layers and still keeping it simple is not that easy – good job! But the second one made my day 😉
Hugs
Christine
Such incredible ideas you come up with! Love them both, however the first one wins my heart – have always been partial to the Queen of Hearts – being a Queen myself … he he ha ha brrrrahahahah. Thanks for dropping into my blog – so love seeing you there. xohugs, Donna
I’m just blown away by your queen of hearts card Marie! All those cream on cream layers and the beautifully framed mono image in the centre have produced a stunning effect and the pin is the perfect finish. Your cameo card is sheer brilliance too. You haven’t got a spare thinking bonnet I could borrow have you?! Vicky x
Hi Marie. Two fabulous CAS cards! I love those stick pins! Great layering on the first card … and amazing impact with the second. Loll xx
Hello, lovely lady. How fitting that you have used the Queen of Hearts for your card! In my opinion you are one of the Queens of CAS! I love your card!! Your camera card is just perfect, of course, and I love that you have joined us over at my other online humble abode 🙂 Thanks so much for playing along at ATSM! xx
I love both of these! The camera fun and bold. The queen of heart has such a statement to it! Fabulous!!!!!!!!!
Amazing use of the inchie stamp, to take such a wee stamp and create this incredible focal, well that takes talent which you have in bucket loads! AND creative use of the heart theme!
The camera one is such fun.
As for the cartwheels, now that would be a fun post to view lol.
Wishes
Lynne

Hiya Marie, ten minutes or ten days, this is beautiful and has your trademark style. I love the second one – your talent with your Cameo never ceases to amaze me – it’s a major job just getting my poor competitor plugged in (which is why it never is!), let alone cut anything with it.
Take care

Two stunning cards Marie. I love the inchie stamp.
xxx Hazel.
Absolutely loving all those gorgeous layers leading up to that lovely little inchie stamp. Well done! Great card.
To answer your question – Jimmy as in Jimmy Barnes, Australian singer (originally from Glasgow). He was once the front man for Cold Chisel (1980’s). Has been a solo artist for quite some years now. Rock music mainly. Go google him – you either love his music or you don’t at all – he has a unique sound. But I have always loved his music.
Lovely cards!great little stamp and the little heart “captures”the card.
Supa cleva take on the ‘heart’ theme…. LoVe both ideas, especially that retro camera!
Wow! Real stunners Marie. Love your take on the heart Challenge. Wonderful design. The camera is incredible. I have just read Karen’s comment. Karen, when you steel the Cameo grab Rosy and Bailey at the same time!! HA HA!!
Crafty Hugs,
Florence xx
Hi Marie! love the first card, the simplicity of it is just stunning and your work is so neat, the pictures are always so clear as well. You certainly love your cameo – and you do some great things on it.

I came over here from Addicted to CAS to tell you how much I like your Queen of Hearts card. I’m surprised that merely stacking the rectangle diecuts can make such an eye-catching card!
