`This unfortunately will be my last post as DT member at ATCAS due to ill health I’m unable to give of my best and feel it is time for me to step down. I’ve had an amazing two years and can’t thank Smiley Kylie for the wonderful opportunity. Not only is she an amazing boss but a wonderful friend. Also a big thank you to the rest of the team who have put up with me during my difficult time and for their support and love. Also a big thank you to my followers who have cheered me up no end with their positive words and wonderful cards.

Here are a few pictures of where I have been hiding for the last five weeks

Here is me and the gang( I’m on the left ) and no I’m not the one with the moustache !

I have to visit the hospital every day for six weeks which is why I have found it difficult catching up with you all. I have met some amazing people and made some great friends we have laughed and cried together, mainly laughed thank goodness , everyone is so supportive and that has made the whole process a lot easier,  I will miss them all when my treatment ends.

Hopefully I will be back blogging soon so until then

Take care

Marie

  10. Hi Marie. The cards you have made for the dot challenge are beautiful. You always inspire me … and encourage me to do more with my cameo. I love reading your blog posts … so funny — never a dull moment. I will miss being team mates, but will be keeping up with your antics once you are feeling better and get back to blogging.

In the meantime, take care and get better. So wonderful that you have made new friends to help you through this treatment and to share their experiences. Sending you lots of love. Loll

  11. Your cards (both of them) are PERFECT and just awesome, you can certainly design, so it seems nuffin wrong with the brain aye?, maybe I should rephrase that, nuffin wrong with THAT part of your brain! LOL.

Glad to see you enjoying your little time with the oxygen, I wonder if this would be available in the UK? Hope it’s helping and healing.
    xx

  12. Marie your cards are lovely – I love that first one with the snowy scene – it inspires me to use my Cameo more! What an interesting contraption you need to be in to regain your health! It does look like a submarine! I hope you have a speedy and full recovery and I will really miss you being a part of ATCAS! Hugs!

  14. Wonderful cards Marie (as always) – the lighting on the first one really does give an amazing atmospheric look. Absolutely FAB-U-LUS! Love the dottiness of the second one too!

Fly me to the moon, came into mind from your space shuttle photo, you all look happy though, no seriously hope you soon get back to full health very quickly.

  16. First of all, your cards are scrumptious and so you in every detail, my dahling! You need to frame your first adorable beauty, too!! Thank you for sharing the photo of you so that I can understand better what hell you have been going through for weeks on end. I think it’s incredible that in the process of these treatments you get to meet other people in the same “boat,” as it were, and make new friends. Always a silver lining somewhere! I continue to keep you in my prayers and my thoughts. Please do keep in touch!! Much love, Darnell

  17. Gee, nearly missed your email alert. I get so much crap in my inbox (of course, I don’t include you in that generalisation! Rofl). Never realised just how bad a time you were having. Pity those folk though being locked in with you ….. Only joking … Bet you’re the one who brings some light relief to the situation. Genuinely sending you get well wishes, hope you’re back to your jolly old self real soon and look forward to seeing you partake in some crafty blogging in the future! Take care. Mwah! Xx

  18. Your cards are stunning Marie, I love the dots on them both! Your tube decompression chamber looks a little scary but the good thing is that you are not alone in it. If you have to do this then it is nice to have other’s going through it too with you and not nice in the way that they are sick, but just that you are all together and can encourage one another. I hope you will be all better after all your treatments and my prayers are with you. I know all about treatments and diseases, just in a different way. Hugs, Brenda

  19. Marie, your cards are gorgoeus – love the multiple use of dots, in the background and in the sentiment. You will be missed at ATCAS – wishing you all the very best 🙂

  20. Firstly, I want to say that I am so sorry you’ve been forced to go through these treatments! Thank heaven you have made some amazing friends and that you’ve been able to laugh with them…still, it can’t be easy! Although we don’t know each other, I will keep you in my prayers for a full recovery, and I will definitely miss your beautiful creations at ATCAS!
Your card is so charming! I love how you created such a pretty winter scene and the critters that you chose are so sweet! I also love your framed rose! I think it’s perfect without the gems, too!
Good luck, and God speed you to good health! Thanks for all of the beautiful creations you’ve shared with us over the past 2 years!!!

  21. We will miss you, Marie. Best of luck in your treatments. Hope you are feeling much better soon and will be back to creating and sharing with us. You have 2 awesome dot creations! Love the dimension of the card and the rose needed to be framed! Happy holidays and may the new year bring you relief and many blessings.

  22. Marie, what a gorgeous way to finish out your time as a DT member. I love the layers, and the subtle way you incorporated the dots for snow. I’ve been thinking about you and sending you prayers and positive thoughts.
    hugs

  23. I have been on a hiatus due to family needs. I do love your cards. Both cards are frame worthy. I pray all is well with you and will remain that way. Big hugs and have a VERY merry Christmas and Happy New Year. – Jim
