Welcome Back! It’s halfway through the month, and you still have plenty of time to join in the fun at The Flower Challenge. We would love to see you use the colour purple on your crafty blooms.
Whilst I was away in the UK, I had time to “splash the cash” and treat myself to all manner of crafty goods; it’s difficult to get the supplies I need(want) here in Greece, so I took full advantage. Needless to say, I ended up with more crafting supplies in my suitcase than clothes.
If ever I’m stuck for inspiration or want to find out what’s the latest in crafting items, I always turn to the talented and fabulous Michele from I Card Everyone. I unashamedly (there was a bit of shame) “cased” her beautiful card, which you can see if you follow the link.
The frame is from The Greetery, and the basket and blooms are courtesy of Honey Bee, coloured with distress oxides.
We do hope you will join us at The Flower Challenge. My teamies have once again outdone themselves and created some amazing cards to inspire and delight.
Wishing you all a fabulous day
Marie

Marie! You made that lovely basket of beauty shine all by yourself! I have to make a plan to visit Marcia again so I can borrow that frame – it’s so nice having a ‘second stash’ an hour away that she is so generous to share! And if you remember, the basket was borrowed from Bobby!
Wish you weren’t a world away! Your card is stunning!

I wish I wasn’t a world away either !!!! Thank you for your kind words and for your constant inspiration.
Your card is absolutely beautiful Marie!! (Wait till you see my card for next month…you’re going to see we were all on the same wavelength as I had to have that basket die and flower die set too!) Michele and Bobby are always so good at enabling us, aren’t they?! But anyway, your card is absolutely lovely and so glad you found room in your suitcase for new goodies!! Hugs. :0)
I always pack light when travelling to the UK because I know a shopping spree awaits. Thanks for your lovely comment.
A stunning card Marie, I love your beautiful flowers in the fabulous basket within the lovely frame. Thanks for the link to Michelle too, I’ve enjoyed a little time perusing her cards too. Hope all is well with you. x
Thanns Faith, hope all is well with you too
Absolutely gorgeous card! I adore that little basket holding the pretty flower bouquet! Love how the scallop frame layer pulls all of the pretty purple colors from the flowers too! Sounds like a great time and a chance to pick up some cool craft items!
Thank you Vicki. Yes great to catch up with the family and get some fun things for my stash
So nice that you ‘treated yourself’ whilst in the UK and I totally get that… I”ve been wondering how I can take all the supplies I need for my next trip with only 15kg luggage (who needs clothes right?)
ps LOVE your beautiful blooms!
I always take far too many clothes so I was quite ruthless this time round, nothing to do with making space for craft supplies . I bought that lovely altenew tree and wood grain press plate thanks to you !
Such a lovely little arrangement of flowers in the basket – I love it!
Thank you Deborah
Casing Michele just shows you have good taste, Marie! I love the basket of beautiful blooms and the pretty way you framed it up. I think your money was well spent in the UK!
I agree on all accounts lol !
I’m glad you were able to get those sets, Marie. They are some of my favorites and while I generally use the bouquet for Fall, I’m loving it in purple.
