Welcome back to another fun challenge at Colorful Options, we had so many amazing entries for our Pastel challenges last month and do hope you will play along without our latest challenge where we are asking you to create a project using Royal Blue
Please remember that you may incorporate any neutrals or metallics you need in your design and that your make does not need to be monochromatic. If royal blue is not to your liking, join us with a rainbow-inspired craft.
As you can see from my card I went down the rainbow path as my “Royal Blue” didn’t arrive in time.
We have an amazing guest designer this month the wonderful and talented Trina from Phamtastic Designs do check out her blog she is a master with Colour.
Items used
Honey Bee Stamps Parot Die
Spellbinders oval die
Spellbinders Four Leaf embossing folder
Distress Oxides
Sentiment Tim Holtz .
. We do hope you will join us at Colorful Options so why not pop along and see what the rest of the Design Team have created to inspire and delight.
In other news my lovely sister is visiting from the UK to celebrate Greek Orthodox Easter with us and we are so looking forward to spending some time at our holiday home by the sea weather permitting.
I’m also linking up with NBUS#62 as my parot die is fresh out of the packet.
Take care
Marie

Love those bright birds – they really pop against the white background!
Thank you so much Deborah for your lovely comment.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 So beautiful! Love the use of the embossing folder for the background, perfection achieved. Have a great weekend!🎨🌈 Cheers, Makira
Thank you so much for your lovely comment Makira
I love your little lovey dovey duo, Marie! The embossed background peeking through is stunning!
I’ll bet you might have a Blueprint Sketch ink pad that would do nicely for royal blue. In my case, I have the blue, but Kate’s figure hasn’t arrived!! lol

I don’t have the blueprint sketch ink but will certainly look it up. My “Royal Blue” arrived late hence the rainbow so look out for me using it in the near future. As for Kate’s figure I enjoy my food far too much !
Cheer to that, my friend!!
love the pop of colored parrots against the white! Stunning end result 👍
Thank you so much Vicki
Love those Rainbow Lorikeets and your beautiful CAS design!
Thank you so much Terese. So that’s what the little darlings are !!
And you, my dear, are a Master of Design! This is a charming, frameable work of art, Marie! I’m so enamored with those sweet colorful parrots! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! I hope you are able to get to the sea with your sister, but I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time no matter the weather! Hugs, Darnell
Mission accomplished but no swimming. Thank you so much for your lovely comment.

Another creative beauty Marie, I LOVE the colourful parrots, would you believe I have something with those colourful birds coming up? Wish it was as gorgeous as yours. I love the simple design and embossing, just gorgeous. Enjoy yourself with your Sister, I’m sure you both will have so much fun. x
We had great fun but now I’m playing catch up and on my way over to your blog to see your parrots.
Marie
Their not there yet Marie, a little wait to see them for you. Try June! 🙂
