Welcome back to a new challenge at `LIM for the next two weeks we are asking you to create something using our prompt C is for Celebrate.
This card was one of the quickest I have ever made, due to the fact that my brain is addled with so much going on in my life. I had mistakenly made a card for our November challenge and when I went to upload it realised my mistake and had to whip up a new one in a matter of moments. I used my brand new Scrolled Punch and Pierce Plate (try saying that after a few libations !) from Spellbinders. I bought this beauty after seeing the fabulous and talented Michele Ferguson from I Card Everyone create an immaculate card.
Here I’ve only used the centre part of the die to keep my card clean and simple, having said that this die is rather challenging but Michele does have some top tips to help and boy did I need them.
Here’s a card I made using the complete plate as you can see there are hundreds of little die cuts, definitely not one for the faint-hearted.
In other news I had a lovely visit from my crazy sister and niece from the UK unfortunately my niece was very ill with a high fever and terrible cough all week so was unable to join in most of the activities but that didn’t stop my sister and I from have lots of fun. Unfortunately whilst they were here my beautiful little Bailey the mini pinscher passed away we are absolutely devastated but having my sister here was a great comfort. Bailey was a very cheeky chappy but his name lives on in my blog title and our memories.
We do hope you will play along with us at LIM my teamies have some amazing cards to delight and inspire.
I’m also linking up to NBUS as this die is fresh out of the packet.
Craft Rocket #107 Clean and Simple
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend
Take care
Marie

Beautiful card Marie. What a week you’ve had – am thinking of you xx
Thank you so much Deborah
Only you could whip up such beautiful cards in minutes. I’d still be taking the die out of the packet. These are both elegant and timeless.
It was an honour to be with you at such a heartbreaking time and despite everything we still managed to have a fabulous time. You are the hostess with the mostest! Roll on April x
Couldn’t have coped if you hadn’t been there
What a week you’ve had Marie, and to add to the pleasure of your sister and niece visit, and heartbreak with the passing of Bailey. A die that most would have thrown in the bin, then you complete two beautiful and impressive cards. I hope things get better from now on.
Thank you so much Faith for your lovely words
Beautiful cards–both of them!!! I’m so sorry for your loss–dogs are so important to us! But, glad you had your sister with you.
Ah, Marie! You give me too much credit! But if I helped just a little with these gorgeous cards, I’ll take it – I don’t think I’ve used it since! Which is such a shame as it makes such a statement!
Once again, I’m so very sorry for the loss of your sweet Bailey… hope your heart is healing nicely and you’ll be smiling with every memory soon. x

Thank you so much for your kind words Michele I really do appreciate them
Love the full card with that awesome cover plate! So sorry about your 4 legged kid too 😢
The full one was mine too.
Oh my, my heart goes out to you Marie, sending big hugs your way for your Bailey. And I hope your niece is well now, it never rains but it pours!
First of all, Marie, my sympathies on the passing of your beloved Bailey. I’m glad your sister was there for you. I feel bad for your niece having to miss out on the fun part of the visit and hope she is all better now. I love both your very striking designs using your new die! That Michele is very talented and a first-class enabler! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
Oh Marie, I’m so sorry that Bailey has gone – I know how much you loved that little dog. Thank goodness your sister was with you to comfort you. Life really does happen doesn’t it
Hope your niece has recovered now too.
What wonderful cards you have made with the die and I’m pleased Michele enabled you! So elegant in the black – the card equivalent of the little black dress! Sending hugs, Vicky x
