It’s such a long time since I’ve posted due to Christmas shopping hours (we have a jewellery shop) and a very longggggggg bout of the flu I didn’t have the energy or the inclination to create. I’m back now with a card for a few challenges as I just adore hearts and this is the time of year when I get to use my favourite products and some new ones that have been sitting on my desk now for a few weeks.

I absolutely adore this Tim Holtz Robotics die I received it recently it’s quite an old one and I was amazed at the possibilities. There are lots of individual pieces so you can create your own cute or not so character. I used distress inks applied directly to my glass mat spritzed them with water and dragged my card through it. When dry I flicked on some gold paint and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
The Little heart is also by Tim Holtz called faceted heart I used the same colouring method as described above and then adhered it to my little robot’s chest. A couple of Pinkfresh gold blobs and A Tim Holtz sentiment and Ta-Dah! My cute (well I think so robot is born).
I’m entering the following challenges

Tic Tac Toe I used heart, free and die cut
Cardz for Guys A valentine for Guyz !!
The Sisterhood of Crafters Who are asking us to use hearts
NBUS Challenge #47 as neither of the above dies have been used before.
Do pop over to the fabulous blogs above to see the amazing creations by both design teams and the amazing entries in their galleries and I loof forward to catching up with you all.
Take care
Marie

This is astounding. I love your thought process, always so creative. It looks like pieces of a metal toy robot, you have attached to the card. You really are a magician. Love this Marie. Good to see you again, I hope you’re back to 100% of health. Hugs x
Thank you Faith all I’m feeling much better
So glad you are back and feeling better! I adore your sweet robot, I thought you had used some sort of metal… your cardstock looks amazing!
Thank you so much
So sorry to hear you’ve been poorly Marie and I hope you are back to your perky self now. I’m loving this quirky card! The robot is very cute and I love the blue patch of ink that grounds him and the wonderful metallic effect. Thank you for coming to play with us at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge! Vicky x
Thank you so much
I think you are a magician, Marie, or maybe a magical jeweler! I’m not sure how you created this metallic effect with just smooching ink and gold, but it’s incredible! I can see where one could have a lot of fun with the bits and bobs! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! I hope you are completely well now and stay that way.
❤Hugs, Darnell
Thank you so much Darnell
