Hello lovely ladies
Just popping in with a super quick post dedicated to mine and yours the lovely , witty and talented Darnell of djkardkreations who requested I posted more often. Well Darnell be careful what you wish for as I will be posting every other day for the next week. So if you need to blame some one for the dinging of your in-boxes blame Darnell link above !
I always love the CAS.olgy cue words and tune in every week to see what it is and what the super talented DT has come up with to admire and inspire. Unfortunately for me its only a weekly challenge and as I’m a bit slow it takes me about six days to come up with something by which time it’s too late to take part. I have literally tons of cards that I have created for their challenges only to miss the deadline . Ladies has any one thought of a challenge site for the slower more senior crafty laggers like myself, somewhere were we can add our cards for the recently finished challenges.
Anyway on to the this weeks cue word before I miss this one as well
What a doozy !!!
Now although this card may look simple believe you me this was a bugger to create. This is a rhinestone sketch which I purchased through the Silhouette on-line store and these holes are tiny weeny things, several goes with various weight card stocks until I finally got a clean-cut and when I did I spilt glossy accents all over it. Well dripped I should say you can’t really spill Glossy Accents now can you ! The heart is red card stock smothered with GA and then die cut with a spellbinders scalloped heart. This card looks a lot more impressive in real life and I really like the shadows produced by the dots.
Sorry about the rotten photo but it’s about to dark here and if I leave it until tomorrow to photograph it I’ll miss the deadline again.! I did in-fact make two cards but poor light stopped play and was unable to get a clear enough picture, so once again I have a spare card not submitted for CAS.olgy !

Hello YOU! where you get your ingenious designs from I don’t know, but please keep doing it, I may be able to copy them! I think this is wonderful especially filling the holes with glossy accents.

Well Marie you certainly posted this perfect card on the perfect day for Dippy (Darnell)…………it’s her and Mister’s anniversary today (or Kevin if you prefer) and she is just going to go gaga over this card (more than she already is of course!!! lol). It is just gorgeous Marie – I can just imagine your face (and your mind) when you dripped GA over the beautifully cut card – but it’s turned out to be an absolute beauty. Looking forward to all the posts that will be dropping into my mail box.

Marie, this is one exceptionally hot dot card! I predict honors will be forthcoming and I’m so happy you made it in time for the CASology challenge this week. You know there are usually a few “Anything Goes” challenges going on around Blogland at any given time. “Paper Playful” is a good resource for finding them so you can enter your too-late cards somewhere. It is a frustration we all share at times, especially with the one-week challenges.

Hi Marie. Fabulous design. I can imagine the time and patience it took to get this cut out perfectly. Great job and love the colors – so elegant and perfect for this time of year with VD only a little ways away.
Have not used my Cameo for over a week, but hope to find some time to get back to learning more and experimenting. I’m afraid that the learning curve for anything to me is really long 🙂 Loll xx
Glossy Accents isn’t a friend of mine, when it goes where it shouldn’t it doesn’t budge, that includes clothes so I feel your pain!
This card is dynamic – the impact is amazing and so original.
