Time for our third challenge over at Addicted to CAS but before I go any further I would just like to thank all of the lovely ladies who took part in our last challenge hosted by my good self with the code word ” Bauble ” what a fantastic response I was totally blown away by all of the fabulous entries and believe you me I’ve had a tough time choosing my winners. Do pop over to Addicted to CAS on Monday to find out who they are.
Now our next challenge is hosted by the lovely and talented Patrice and her code word is………..
So much scope for this one , having said that it was a bit of a toughie as I don’t own anything remotely sweet related so after much deliberation this is what I came up with
Sweet 16 !!!
I cut all of the numbers by hand……….well I used my hand to press the buttons on my Cameo , matted and layered on pink and black card and added pink stickles to the 16, done !!
Not satisfied with my card I thought I would have a go at making a sweet treat box so off I went to my local sweetie shop to try to buy candy to match my design paper and I think I did a pretty good job ! of course while I was there I had to sample some of the goodies…….
Once again my Cameo obliged by cutting this lovely Design Paper by SU ( if only the Cameo could assemble the box it would be so much easier ) oh and of course the treat cup is also a SU goodie .
Still not satisfied with my efforts and as the general opinion in my household was ” its a bit boring ” I did try explaining the CAS aspect but it fell on deaf ears, throwing caution to the wind and my superb good taste out of the window I decided to add a little humour . Be warned…… the next photo is a little ” gross ” as our lovely leader Kylie so eloquently put it when she saw it
Sweet Tooth ……….or teeth even !!!!! not very CAS, not in very good taste and most probably not very funny but I just couldn’t resist !!!
If that last photo hasn’t put you off do pop over to Addicted to CAS to see the gorgeous inspirational and tasteful I may add creations from my fellow team members.
We are once again sponsored by the lovely and talented Joanna Munster from Inspired by Stamping who is offering a twenty dollar gift voucher to be spent in her online store. Joanna has some amazing and inspirational goodies so much so that I have even had a bit of a shop myself !
Hi my name is Joanna Munster, owner/designer/illustrator of Inspired by Stamping. I started crafting 11 years ago when I started capturing my daughter’s special moments with scrapbooking. I quickly fell in love with all things crafty including cross stitch, crocheting, knitting, drawing, jewelry making but my love has always been towards the paper craft industry. It is a place where I can lose myself in creating for hours.
Two years ago, my hubby, myself and our three children moved from the United States to Australia. While waiting for my working visa, I started drawing and paper crafting full time with my blog. One of my dear friends suggested that I make a stamp set with one of my drawings and this is where Inspired by Stamping started. I love every moment of working in this industry from the beautiful women and men that I meet daily, to the amazing designs that I see with an Inspired by Stamping set. October 15th 2012, we celebrate our first year of Inspired by Stamping and it is exciting to say that we are growing and expanding! 🙂
$20 GIFT VOUCHER
I do hope you will find the time to join us at Addicted to CAS and cant wait to see what you come up with.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
Marie
Wow Marie, you’ve certainly outdone yourself here. Love your sweet 16 card – so effective, and your sweet treat box is fabulous (how bad of Cameo not to put it together for you!). Then we come to the last one ………..well, there really are no words to describe it. I have only just recovered from my paroxisms of laughter……do they actually sell these in Greece??? Not sure anyone would be tempted to eat them……but they could save you a fortune at the dentist! lol
Hugs.

The sweet 16 card is lovely, and the sweetie box, but after that….Marie! Reminds me of my time in the Old People’s Home where they used to take out their teeth and leave them on the table during dinner….Hugs, Valerie
Some clever makes here Marie.
Love the teefs 🙂
Have a lovely Christmas
Best wishes chrissie xxxx
I’m with Valerie — The first two – absolutely fabulous — the last one? Well, I watched an incident in the hospital where a nurses aid came and collected everyones teeth to clean them – only to take on a look of horror when she realized she didn’t have a clue which pair belonged to which person anymore. Quite a dilema. ‘nough said. :o) xoDonna
Love your take on the theme Marie, you always create cards that I want to case! Those teeth are amazing you would probably need false ones if you ate too many:)

Gorgeous card, but have to say that the teeth are such fun as a giift.

Your sweet sixteen card is fabulous, Marie! I love the gorgeous black and pink combo. But your teeth in a box cracked me up!! Genius idea!!! You’ve really made my day!!! You should mass product these!!!!
I’ve kept meaning to ask if your son has finished his stint of national service?
Enjoy your weekend, Marie xx
Fabulous! Love both the card and box.
Marie, outstanding work AGAIN, the teeth are my kind of humour, wish we had them here, I would have done some for my craft fair LOL
Μαρία είσαι απίστευτη!!!!!!!!
Φιλάκια πολλά!!!
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha …
I was already chuckling about your comment that you didn’t have anything “sweet” in your stash – mines kinda like that. Great sweet 16 card. I’m so envious of you Cameo owners.
This is fabulous, Marie! Very inventive, I like the black on pink and the sparkle. Sue x
Hi Marie, very bold and graphic card. Love the bright pink and black colors together. The glittery sixteen is the perfect way for it to stand out.
Your card looks fantastic, love the bright colors. And your boxes rock.
Sweet 16?!? Sooo clever!!!!! Love it Marie, I love how you always think outside of the box….
But these teeth??? (or tooth???) Made me laugh out loud!!! lol!!!!!
LOL brilliant fun and so you!!!!
Wishes
Lynne
Clever use of your cameo and there are so many options with the numbers 🙂

Super FAB designs! Love the idea of ‘sweet 16’, you are so so clever!
Lol, you nutter! I wasn’t expecting to see that at the end at all – love it! Your sweet 16 card is gorgeous – I soooooo want a Cameo.

Smashing projects Marie but the teeth are brilliant…………..I wonder who will be getting these………..lol Annette xx
Ahhhh sweet 16 – perfect! Love the black and bright pink – gorgeous. Fabulous effort on your sweet treat boxes too – I love those yummy little ‘gross looking’ teeth. x

Thank you for finding my blog and your kind words, I love your sweet 16 card, great idea and as for your sweet treats, they are fab. The teeth one is hilarious, I love it. Deb x
Would love them, but can’t find your email address to send address! Sorry
Wow Marie – you’ve really outdone yourself here with all these fabulous makes! I love the clever thinking on the sweet 16 card and the wonderful sweets box with the treat cup but the gnashers are the most er fascinating of the lot!
Just wanted to pop by to wish you a happy Christmas. Take care, Vicky x
Brilliant post, Marie! The idea of “16” for the word “sweet” is beyond genius! Cut them out by hand, did you, poor thiing?! LOL! The teeth – being in such bad “taste” – LOL again!! That’ll teach ’em to call your creations boring!
Have a wonderful, healthy, and rocking New Year!!
Marie, what on earth possessed you to take your teeth out and put them in this beautiful gift box (you won’t be able to eat those sweets without them!)! These boxes are gorgeous, by the way, I’ve never tried anything like this on my Cricut, but they make fabulous gifts with the sweets (and teeth) in. Your sweet 16 card is a brilliant idea, the hot pink and black look fabulous.
Take care
Maria xxxxx
