Hellooooooooooo lovely ladies !
I’m finally back after a four-month absence from blogland and I don’t know where to begin…..the last four months have been horrible what with my own poor health and losing a family member and close friends I really wasn’t up to crafting let alone blogging.
I would like to thank the lovely Smiley Kylie my boss at ATCAS who refused to accept my resignation and kept my place on the team, also a huge thank you also to my teammates who covered my commenting and for their concern. So here goes my first attempt at card making after four months, so be gentle with me.
Our host for the next two weeks is the lovely and very talented Sylvia who has chosen the code word Autumn/Fall and here is my take on the theme
Autumn for me is a lovely time I adore the change in colours and the beauty of the fallen leaves and wanted to create something textural.I used my embellishing machine to create this little scene using various fabrics, silks and wools this is the first time I have actually made something using this machine and I quite liked the result. The sentiment was created with my Cameo
I once again used the embellishing machine and made a square background, I then cut the leaf shape with the Tim Holtz tattered florals die and created the sentiment with my Cameo.
We do hope to will join us at ATCAS and why not pop over and see the fabulous creations from the other lovely ladies on the DT.
We are being sponsored this time by The Paper Nest Dolls who are most generously offering 25$ gift voucher to be used in their online store
I would also like to enter my cards into CAS.ology who I see are also having an Autumn challenge
look forward to catching up with you all as best as I can and can’t wait to see what you come up with for our Autumn challenge.
Take care
Marie

Welcome back, Marie! I’m sorry I’m late making a comment here, but I’ve been away for a week to my sister’s and I’m just catching up. It’s funny that I came home to see that you had posted because on my desk is my “to do” list for when I got back and one item was to ask Karen B., one of your teamies and a friend to me, if she knew if you were okay.
I’m terribly sorry to hear that you have been ill and that you had a death in the family. I’m sending you a warm hug of condolence for your loss. I hope that getting back to your designing and crafting will be good therapy during this tough time.
Your autumnal creations seriously dislocated my jaw!! The leaf creations ROCK!! You certainly haven’t lost any of your brilliant artistic talent!! Hugs, Darnell
