Happy Belated Birthday Anita

The very talented and all around gorgeous girl Anita from My Paper Craft World celebrated her birthday exactly a month ago today . Being the shy retiring lady she is she didn’t spill the beans until it had passed but as you all know here in blogland its hard to keep a secret ( although Darnell and Bev  of Happy Dance both managed to do that whilst organizing this surprise ) These two lovely ladies wanting to honor the lovely Anita and have organized this link party so we her blogging friends can show our appreciation by uploading cards here . If you would like to join in please follow the link or if you just want to pop over to Darnells blog to see how wonderful these blogging friends are there are tons of cards already linked up in the gallery

Anita here’s wishing a very happy belated birthday sending you lots of warm hugs from Greece.

It seems my card also fits in with this fortnight’s Fusion challenge so I hope you don’t mind Anita if I pop it in there too !

I decided to follow just the sketch and used this lovely stamp by La Blanche coloring the eyes and lips with Copics and then adding GA to give a shiny effect . The frame was made with Spellbinders square ( obviously ) die and for the first time in ages I didn’t rev up the old Cameo !!!.

Before I go I would like to share some photos of the view along the sea front where I live, Ive recently taken up power walking and I walk about 10km daily ,lately there have been some fantastic sunsets and I managed to get a quick shot of the sun as it was disappearing  behind the mountains.

Wishing you all a lovely day

Take care

Marie

  1. This is so lovely, Marie! Our dear bloggy friend, Anita, will surely love this. That stamp is so unique, and I love that you’ve only colored the eyes and lips. Great paper too! Love the sunset and the umbrella artwork. Water and sunsets just go together, don’t they?! (though in my part of the world, it’s sunrises! lol). Beautiful card, and I’m so glad that you were able to help us all celebrate our dear friend, Anita.
