Hello to one and all.
I’m back with a second post this week due to the fact that ” sunny Greece” , well at least my city Thessaloniki is snowed in and we have been asked not to open our businesses by our mayor . So there’s not much else to do but craft and keep warm.Unfortunately for thousands of people who have gas central heating their pipes have frozen and most don’t have hot water or heating no one apparently foresaw -10c in the cities .
AAA Cards has a new challenge up and running and due to the inclement weather here I thought that my card may just fit the bill
These two little guys have been cut with my Cameo the larger one being inset into the card and the smaller being popped up by foam to give dimension. Unfortunately the light is quite poor so not able to get a really good photo.
Here’s another I made
Once again I used my Cameo to cut the image and used the stained glass effect t0 print the coloured background onto acetate this requires a little jiggery pokery with the Cameo software but it’s fun if not a little time consuming to do.
Do pop over to AAA Cards to see the amazing inspiration cards by the DT and there are some lovely cards filling up the gallery.
Just thought I would leave you with some photos from my balcony although it doesnt look too bad especially to those of you that live in countries that have this kind of weather on a regular basis but here in Greece especially in a city as large as Thessaloniki we are just not prepared for it and of the course -10 to -15 isn’t helping a whole lot.
Wherever you are stay safe.
Marie
It looks bad enough especially for a place that doesn’t experience this kind of weather!! The pics are pretty of the snow though. And I do know what it is like to not have heat, as I was having issues with my furnace last week, poor repair man all but lived here! But heat is now working and I’m giving all the credit to God and my repair man. Your cards are just adorable Marie! I love your cute penguins and the bird window card. When the weather is like it is, it is best to stay in and have some play days in the crafty rooms. Your mayor is a smart person in closing everything down! Stay warm my friend! Hugs, Brenda
As always BRILLIANTLY thought out cards, love what you do with the Cameo. Both cards are wonderful. Maybe in a few years I’ll catch up LOL.
Awful weather for you, we just have rain, with a little snow in comparison predicted tomorrow (maybe), certainly nothing to what you are all experiencing.
Keep warm and crafting 🙂

Absolutely amazed at your extremely unusual weather. Love the two fun cards. Fabulous use of the cameo, so clever x
I so love those little penguins and their shiny bellies!! The affect of one being inlaid and the other popped up is great. I love the little flourishes and flakes under the HELLO image. Wonderful CAS card. Thanks so much for linking up and playing along with us at AAA Cards.
WOW – you have more snow than we do! Time to go skiing 😉 – and the penguin card is just perfect for your outside scenery – wait – they haven’t yet relocated to Greece? 🙂
Beautiful bird set amid the branches, Marie … love how the red and blue pop against the kraft! Oh my, those perky penguins with their shimmery bellies … they’re fantastic … so handsome … very James Bond! Stay warm and safe in all that chilliness! Hugs, Anita 🙂
I love that the mayor told businesses to shut – wish they would do that in Buxton! I could spend all day crafting then like you did. Love the penguin card with their shiny bellies and that cut out bird on kraft – Brilliant. I always look forward to seeing your Cameo makes as you are so inventive with what you do. Hope your flowers recover soon! x
